ATAC assisted the North Dakota Department of Transportation in developing a project-level ITS architecture and systems engineering analysis for the I-29 corridor in Fargo. The analysis focused on supporting ITS traffic management and traveler information services along the I-29 corridor as well as for the future Traffic Operations Center (TOC) in Fargo. The analysis identified the communication needs of video surveillance, intersection video detection, and dynamic message signs and how these needs are could supported by fiber optics along the I-29 corridor.
